Georgia Power visited 2nd grade last week! Students enjoyed STEM-based and interactive activities that focused on energy efficiency, electrical safety, and career exploration.

Today we are celebrating National School Resource Officer Appreciation Day to recognize the vital role SROs play in keeping our schools safe, mentoring students, and educating communities on law enforcement, acting as vital links between youth and police. During Apple, fourth-grade students are working on assignments that integrate reading, writing, science, and social studies. These interdisciplinary tasks help develop meaningful academic connections!

We are excited to announce that our Black History Program, featuring musician Mr. Christopher Crenshaw, will take place on Monday, March 2, 2026. Please make plans to join us for this wonderful morning together!

Progress reports for the 3rd nine weeks of school will go home with students today. Please take time to celebrate successes and to create a plan where growth is needed. Please sign and return to school with your student.

Kindergarten registration for the 2026-2027 school year will take place from 5-7pm on Thursday, March 5, 2026. This is for students not currently enrolled in our Pre-K program. Early Release Day will take place on Friday, February 13, 2026. Transportation forms will be sent home today with students. Please fill out and return to your child's teacher.
