We are excited to see everyone tonight at PTO's Daddy/Daughter Dance!

Second grade students made snow in small group reading after reading several nonfiction texts about it just in time for the snow we had a few weeks ago!

The Scholastic Book Fair’s giving program is open to businesses, organizations, alumni, and the entire community! Anyone can support students in our school who need help buying books. Learn more at https://www.scholastic.com/bf/lincolncountyelemschool2 . #ScholasticBookFairs

We are excited to welcome Miss Savanna Starbuck to the LCES family! She officially joined us at the beginning of this month as a paraprofessional.

If you have not yet ordered a yearbook, now is the time! We need to finalize our order and get an appropriate number of books. This presale is the only guaranteed way to ensure a book, as we don't order many extras, and we have sold out the past three years. If you are planning to purchase at the end of the school year, please reconsider. You can also pay by e-check and Venmo through Jostens.com. Order by February 20th to guarantee your copy.

Mrs. Cook and Mrs. Phillips spent time a few weeks ago working hard at Growing Readers at RESA! LCES teachers are continuing to learn all the ways teaching reading is both a science and an art. We are so excited to see our students become skilled, confident readers!

Our spring book fair will take place March 2-6, 2026. Click here to create your student's e-wallet: https://bookfairs.scholastic.com/bf/lincolncountyelemschool2
