Birthday Marquee

The purpose of the digital marquee is to promote school spirit at Lincoln County Elementary School by wishing our students or staff a happy birthday on the sign. Parents, family members, students & staff have the opportunity to wish a student or staff member a happy birthday that will be displayed for one week. 100% of the funds raised by the happy birthday spotlight on the marquee will be used for activities that will benefit our students and school.

Frequently Asked Questions

How can I wish someone happy birthday on the marquee?

1)  You can reserve the student or staff member’s spotlight online at Sign Up Genius Link or scan the QR code (must be done the Friday prior to the birthday week).

Example: My child’s birthday is December 5, 2023. I need to sign up on the Friday prior to that date, so I would sign up for the December 1st slot. The happy birthday will be displayed for one week (Friday to Friday).

2) Next, pay for your marquee spotlight by sending in $5 to your child’s teacher or  visit the LCES office to pay.

How much does it cost for the happy birthday spotlight and how do I pay?

It is $5 for the happy birthday spotlight per student or staff member you would like to spotlight.

Payment must be received by the Friday prior to the birthday week you are sign up for or your date will be forfeited.

Can I take a picture at the marquee with the student?
